House Smoke Alarms
House hold smoke alarms are a 240 volt smoke detection and sounder device. They are supplied with a battery backup to enable normal operation in a power failure. Smoke alarms need to be installed outside the sleeping areas with the intention of waking up the occupants in the event of a fire whilst sleeping.
These alarms should be interconnected so that if one alarm senses smoke, then all the alarms will be activated together.
Commercial Fire Alarm Systems
Commercial fire alarm and EWIS (emergency warning and intercom systems) are installed by ABA Security and Electrical. We provide two different types of system.
- Australian Standard 1670.1 Compliant system
- A local dialling or fully monitored smoke and thermal detection system

Fire System Maintenance
We currently complete monthly, 6 monthly and yearly testing for multiple sites.
